HUB People

The People tab launches a dashboard in the main display with labor information for employees, weekly time-clock review, and a list of all active and inactive employees for each store. The People tab also allows users to create new employee profiles from HUB and automatically syncs them directly into that store’s Revention POS system.

Time Clock Tab

The People Timeclock Tab displays data to manage or collect employee pay information.

Select Store

Click the store drop down menu and Select Store to view employee timeclock data for that store. Employee time clock data is displayed by individual store.

Refresh Data

Click Refresh Data to display data for any parameters selected.

HUB requires this button to be clicked only after store selections are changed.

Select Week

Click the Select Week arrows to view timeclock information for different weeks.

Labor Type

The Labor Type, breaks down hours worked by each labor type that employee used over the selected week.

Day

The Labor Hours are broken up by Day/Date. Dates that have the “–” symbol indicates that the associated employee has not logged any timestamps for those days.

Reg

Regular Hours is the sum of all hours worked during the week at their normal pay rate.

OT

Over Time hours is the sum of all hours worked that qualify as over time based on the Labor Laws configured in-store.

Total Hrs

Total Hours displays the combined Regular Hours and Over Time hours for the actual hours the employee worked that week.

Other Tips

Other Tips displays any claimed tips not from credit cards that the employee reported into the POS. 

This field is manually recorded by the POS, if the field displays a 0, then the employee entered 0 tips from other sources.

CC Tips

Credit Card Tips displays the total credit card tips that were assigned to the employee. This value is automatically recorded by the POS.

Grat

Gratuity displays any service charges that the employee receives using the Gratuity button in the POS. This value is automatically recorded by the POS.

Tip %

Tip Percent displays the comparison of total tips reported to the employee’s total net sales during the week.

Additional Information

The Additional Information button expands an employee’s labor types and shows specific labor type information in addition to the summary information.

Employee Name

Click an underlined Employee Name to access that individual’s timeclock records for the week. The records can be updated in HUB and will populate in the POS.

Timeclock Records

The time clock records for each day and shift are listed in rows here with labor type, in and out times, tips and compensation for the day.


If someone forgot to punch out, a “–” will display.

Edit

Click the Edit button to update and change any information for the selected record.

Delete

Click Delete if an entire record needs to be removed.

Back

Click Back to return to the Summary view of employee timeclock records.

Add/Edit Timeclock Records

Employee Name

The Employee Name field is not updateable and auto-populates from the employee selected.

Business Date

Business Date is the day the employee was scheduled to work or the date of the record being modified.

Labor Type

All available Labor Types assigned to the employee are selectable from this drop down menu.


Please Note: If a labor type is updated for a record, the POS will automatically update the pay rate associated with the new labor type.

Tips

Tips field is where you would update all tips that the employee claimed for the day.


Please note: Tips for a new record will not have associated drawer/order information and so all tips should be reported here.

Additional Compensation

If the employee received additional compensation, such as driver compensation or gratuity, please enter it here.

In Time

Record or update the time an employee started their shift here.

Out Time

Record or update the time the employee’s shift ended here.

Warnings

Any warnings that will prohibit the record from saving display at the bottom of the page.


For example, an employee can’t have overlapping timeclock entries.

Cancel

Click Cancel to exit out of the timeclock editor without saving changes.

Save

Click Save to complete the record changes and return to the employee menu. If there are any errors, this button will not be clickable.

Employees

The Employees tab displays information on all employee profiles recorded in the Revention POS for the selected store. Employee records can be accessed for information such as contact phone or updated as needed.

Employees

The Employees Tab allows employee creation and general account information management from HUB.

Refresh Data

Click Refresh data to display new data after changing stores or editing an employee record.


If the Employee record is created in HUB, it will populate to the store within 15 minutes.

Active Employees

Toggle between Active employees and Inactive employees using this button.


Active employees are currently on the payroll and can clock in.

Inactive Employees

Toggle between Active employees and Inactive employees using this button.


Inactive employees are not currently on the payroll and can’t clock-in. Seasonal and terminated employee records should be set to Inactive.

Stores

Click the Stores drop down menu to change the store that you are viewing employees.

Add Employee

Click Add Employee to create a new employee profile. If the employee is created in HUB, this record will populate in-store on the next HUB transmission.

Last Name

Click Last Name to filter the current employees alphabetically by last name.

First Name

Click First Name to filter the current employees alphabetically by first name.

Email Address

Click Email Address to filter the current employees who do and don’t have an email address registered in their profile.

Labor Type

Click Labor Types header to filter each employee by their default labor type. Click the labor type to edit pay rates or assigned labor types.

Configure Employee

Click the Configure widget to enter the employee setup and configuration Tab.

Reset Password

Click the Reset Password button to initiate a password reset for the employee’s numerical password in the Revention POS.

Pages

Use the Page Number buttons to view additional employees.

General Information

The People functions in HUB allow users to create and manage existing employee records. Pay info, employee contact information, employment status, and documentation for driver insurance can all be managed and monitored from HUB.

General

The General tab contains Required and optional fields to fill out I-9 and W4 payroll forms for tax reporting.

First /Last Name

The First and Last Name fields are required to create a new employee.

Nick Name

The Nick Name field is optional and can be used if there are multiple employees with the same name.

Email

The Email field is required if the employee is a driver using EyeDeliver, otherwise it is optional.

SS Number

The SS Number is an optional field with required formats of either 123-45-6789 or 123456789.

Employee Number

The Employee Number is optional for recording a custom employee ID.

Birthdate

The Birthdate is optional, but will trigger child labor law restrictions if they are set up in the POS.

Hire Date

The Hire Date is a required field that auto-populates to today. It can be updated if the record is created retroactively.

Termination Date

The Termination Date is an optional field to record when someone left employment.

Last Changed

The date/time the employee record was last updated will show in the Last Changed field. This field is auto-populated and cannot be edited.

Last Changed By

The Last Changed By field shows the user that last edited this employee record.

Click Cancel or Exit to close the screen without saving changes.

Address Info

The Address Info tab contains fields for employee records.

Line 1

Address Line 1 is the primary street and number fields in an address.

Line 2

Address Line 2 is where apartment or suite numbers are recorded

City/State

City and state are also verified as part of the address when mapped.

Zip Code

Zip Code is the 5 digit postal zip code.

Home Phone

If the employee has a Home Phone, enter it here.

Cell Phone

If the employee is a driver using Eye Deliver, Cell Phone is a required field, otherwise enter it as needed.

Cell Provider

Cell Provider assists Revention with troubleshooting and development of Eye Deliver information.

Cell Domain

The Cell Domain field is for users using a web based mobile device.

Driver Info

The Driver Info tab is optional information for employees unless they clock in as a Driver Labor Type. The Point of sale will reference these fields and prohibit clock-in without manager approval unless the records are up-to-date.

DL Number

Record the employee’s Driver’s License Number here.

DL Exp Date

Enter the Driver’s License Expiration Date here.

Insurance Company

Enter the Name of the Driver’s primary Insurance Company while he’s on the clock here.

Insurance Phone

Enter the Insurance Phone contact number here.

Policy Number

Enter the insurance Policy Number here.

Insurance Exp Date

Enter the Insurance Policy Expiration Date here.

Registration Exp Date

Enter the Vehicle’s state/county Registration Expiration Date here.

Additional Comp Value

If this driver receives more money per delivery than the default system amount, enter the Additional Compensation Value here.

Additional Comp Pct

If the Store uses a Percent of order instead of a flat rate, and the driver receives additional compensation beyond the base percentage, record the Additional Percentage here.

Cancel/Exit

Click Cancel or Exit to close the screen without saving changes.

Labor Types

Labor Type

The Labor Type column displays all selected labor types for the selected employee.

Labor Rate

The Labor Rate field is for the hourly compensation an employee receives. If the employee is

Effective Date

The Effective Date refers to the day that any Labor compensation value changes take effect. This field is unique to each labor type. It is also retroactive, if a pay increase happened on 12-3-15, but it is recorded on 12-5-15, the employee’s pay records will show the new value from the effective date recorded.

Default

The Default flag determines which labor type is preselected when the employee clock’s in.

Remove

The Remove button allows labor types to be removed from an employee profile.

Add Labor Type

The Add Labor Type drop down can be used to select multiple labor types for a single employee.

Cancel/Exit

Click Cancel or Exit to close the screen without saving changes.

Apply Changes

Click Apply Changes to save the changes and exit.
